Welcome to IntelliStitch
YOU SPOKE, WE LISTENED - AGAIN...February 5, 2005We are proud to introduce the newest revision of the IntelliStitch stitch regulator, the I/S-Turbo(cl). The new software is based in part on the analysis of the feedback from I/S-Turbo users. Even more importantly, we have listened to the opinion of those who chose other stitch regulators after trying the I/S. After about a one-year development process we think that the I/S-Turbo(cl) will satisfy even the most critical customers. (see the User Manual here) more..
We took the "I really like the I/S, but..." opinions and tried to eliminate what came after the "but". Here are some examples: "... but I don't like the hammering of the firing stitch." With its speed sensitive stitching power, the I/S-Turbo(cl) provides smoother stitching at both slow and fast machine movements. The feel of machines driven by the I/S-Turbo(cl) is now the same as the speed-based regulators, like the A-1 Stitch-Rite, the Gammill Plus and the APQS Millennium, while the advantages of the firing stitch technique are still maintained. "... but sometimes I am getting these long stitches at points." The reason why there are less long-stitch complaints coming from Millennium or Prodigy owners is that those machines have more powerful motors, which makes it easier to follow the sudden changes in speed and direction.
MESSAGE FROM A BETA-TESTERWow, leave it to IntelliStitch to make a wonderful tool even better! The new IntelliStitch Turbo CL once again proves that Zoltan Kasa and Kasa Engineering Services is always taking customer input seriously. I absolutely LOVE the new Regulated Stitching Mode! No more choosing between Precision Quilting Mode for your slow intricate quilting and High Speed Mode for your faster quilting. The new speed sensitive stitch strength in the Regulated Stitching Mode does both. This is also fantastic for those of us who usually quilt at neither a snails pace nor lightning fast. What a great time saver when you are quilting areas with both SID and background fill or any other pattern. You no longer have to stop and change back and forth between modes. The new Training Mode is a great addition to the IntelliStitch. When in Training Mode it makes an audible tone to help train you to move correctly through direction changes and points thus eliminating long stitches. Once the Training Mode has trained you, or if you naturally slow down into a point and pull out gradually resulting in no long stitches, you may simply turn the Training Mode off with the press of a button. As part of my daily prep before quilting, I would always oil and warm-up my machine. This allows optimum performance as well as extending the life of the machine. The new Controlled Warm-Up takes any guesswork out of warming up your machine. With the Controlled Warm-Up the machine is brought to normal operating temperature sooner and stops automatically. The new 30 page User Manual explains everything in a clear and concise manner. The old manual was very good. This new one is awesome. I truly appreciate Zoltan Kasa and Kasa Engineering Services for their continued excellent customer service and continued research and development. This says volumes about how superb the company is.
IN-STUDIO CONVERSIONThe most convenient way to get the IntelliStitch® stitch regulators on your machine is the in-studio conversion, offered by IntelliStitch® dealers and Kasa Engineering Services. Instead of trading in your machine for an upgrade, or sendig it to a dealer for conversion, our technician will visit you and install the IntelliStitch® on your machine. After the installation is done we will demonstrate the operation, setup and maintenance of the IntelliStitch®. We even stay to assist you during your first practice session with the machine, answering all the questions you may have. Here is what some of those who took advantage of this option have to say: "It's been a week since you converted my 97 Gammill Optimum to add the Intellistitch Turbo. I'm ecstatic with the purchase and the performance of the I/S Turbo. Starts and stops are so perfect and crosshatching and SID are so much easier. Zoltan - I love it and can't believe I waited so long to add the I/S to my machine! Many thanks for the professional installation and the quality product. You can be sure that I'll be recommending the addition of the I/S Turbo to anyone I know that has a longarm machine without it." Marge Goumas Hooked On Quilts marge@hookedonquilts.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPSHOW TO ENTER THE SETUP MODE Q: I am following the adjustment instructions, but the machine does not do what is described. For example, at the 12 o'clock position of the dial the machine just beeps when I hit the black switch. A: You are not in the adjustment mode when this happens. You should turn the power off, hold the red switch down, then turn on the power. Continue holding the red switch until the beep(s) completed. An immediate sign that you are in the setup mode is that the needle DOES NOT make a cycle when the switch is released. |
